Much needed toybox

I refuse to pay retail for things, everything I need comes to me either free or really cheap.
$2 @ DI.  Big, sturdy box (gonna throw all the baby toys in it)

Biking home from an appointment

Saw a Mardi Gras wig hanging out of the dumpster, had to snag it for my halloween collection. It needs a brush run through it, and it'll be so fun.

Big lots

I think I have a competitor, because there isn't much at big lots, but I dug and found a few things.

First night canning, went on my bike!

City park, black garbage can
I can't believe the stuff people throw away. Last night I rode my bike around the neighborhood peeking into people's "black beauties" The main reason I decided to go "canning" was because I saw this comforter peeking out of a residential can. I knew I had to go back and get it. I waited til nightfall, and yanked this!
Beautiful, and sparkly comforter

Sweet spot batman find

Went to the sweet spot, found a few things, that I forgot to photograph like a tool box, and some spray paint. But this was the best find. A batman messenger bag. I threw it in the wash machine, then sold it for $5

Nail polish and couponing

Walgreens - free!
Went to walgreens with coupons. The big glitter was $1.49. I had a coupon for $1.50 off. One cashier wouldn't let me buy it, so I returned the next day and tried again. Boom. Walgreens paid me 1 cent to take this nailpolish. The triple shine was $1.29. I had the $1.50 coupon, so I made 21 cents on this one.

Sunday Funday with Gavin - first daytime dive

Staples will give you $3 a cartridge. Rescued these to make some money

Sticky Darts - Dollar Tree. Full box

Random stuff from behind BB. Money? In the dumpster?

Kenneth Cole Reaction sunglasses - in the car wash garbage can

Free Helmet! The Rotary club had a bike rally and were giving out free helmets. Snagged this one for baby.  Tried to get one for me, but there weren't any to fit my big noggin!

Random, not exciting, but hey, headphones!

So random. Only one set of the headphones worked, still need to test the lawn sprinkler toy. I found more clothes and personal garbage and a tablecloth that I ended up bagging up for the thrift store. I hope to sell the plug for the proctor silex griddle on Ebay.
This bedset was in BB&B, but it was spray painted. I salvaged the bed skirt and pillow cases and will donate them to the thrift store.

Thanks Ulta. Hairspray 3/4 full (going to sell it on a local classifieds), body wash, bare minerals mineral veil, and a broken eyeshadow. These were all returns.

Toys and books

Tonight a friend called me over to get her castoffs. She's moving. There was a huge box of scholastic books, that I sorted through, and then let 2 other mama friends have. My friend also let me have a  baby doll, a doctor set, and some refrigerator magnets (too lazy to photograph them tonight). There were also American Girl doll book sets, that I sold on local classifieds to a mom for $5. Typically I give things away for free, but sometimes I try to make a little bit of money, while providing a good bargain to someone else. Together both the books I was selling would have gone for $ 14 on Amazon, so I made a small profit. Thanks Ms. Jen!  Inside one of the books was a $2 bill. I will use that and the $5 towards gasoline, which I use dumpster diving and hauling my finds.
